I can hardly believe that school starts in a month for Jeffrey and me, and in five weeks for Ilyana! Summer has flown by. Ilyana has been at summer school for a preview of her first grade classroom, and Evelyn is thriving at her school-based daycare program. Jeffrey continues to teach, and I’m up to my eyeballs in work. A vacation is in the offing for me shortly, which will be very nice.
In late June/early July we were fortunate enough to have Grandma Jerry and Grandma Laurel in town. They stayed with the girls while we got away to Chicago for a conference and a little R and R together. It was a wonderful visit, and of course we were graced with some wonderful pictures from Laurel’s camera. I’ve shared a few pictures below, but the whole set is at http://www.flickr.com/photos/gretelsk/sets/72157634450360237/.
