Overly Academic

We’re all recovering here form a week of sick and catching up from vacation.  So, no pictures to speak of.  However, I do have a video to share from the day before Ilyana got sick.  She was having a blast of a time splashing in puddles brought on by 50 degree weather.  Needless to say, we don’t have much snow anymore!

Ilyana and I just got back from visiting Durham yesterday.  We had five days of fun with Grandma Ann.  I was really happy that we survived the airplane and airports with relative ease (and only a couple meltdowns).  What made me even happier is how Ilyana instantly took to Grandma.  She’s been a bit more cautious in the past, but she was very happy to drag “Gamma” around and play.  We were also fortunate to have a couple days of really warm weather (50s and 60s).  It made coming back to 4 degrees very tough.
